Heather Huff
Heather considers herself a native of Okaloosa County. She grew up as a military brat and found Shalimar, Florida home after many moves. She graduated from Choctawhatchee High School and went on to graduate from The University of Florida with a Bachelors in Health Science Education and School Health. She was married soon after to Brandon Huff of Niceville, Florida and they have three children. Zander, 24, works with her husband in the building and development field, Hatten, 22, works for WinRed which is an American Republican Party (GOP) fundraising platform, and Blakely, 20, is a student at Pepperdine who is currently studying in Lausanne, Switzerland. They find themselves avid Auburn Tiger fans seeing her husband, son, and daughter all graduated from Auburn.
Heather has always had a heart for serving and helping whenever and wherever she is needed. As a family they decided to choose several college students and provide financial aid while they are in school. They hoped that this gave freedom to them and lifted the load of the students’ financial worries.
She has been a member of Crosspoint Church for nearly 26 years where she has taught Sunday school classes, led Wednesday night children’s classes, been a member of multiple adult small groups, taught Vacation Bible School for 15 years and loved those she’s walked alongside. She has served on the Vacation Bible School Executive Board for 5 years and served as a member of Crosspoint’s Administrative Board for 3 years. The project she enjoyed the most was ‘Supper on Saturday.’ She and her husband served warm meals and had fellowship with families and different individuals as they built relationships with those most in need. They served in this capacity for 10 years until Covid changed the layout of this program.
Heather also has a heart for what Sharing and Caring does for her community. She was a volunteer at the Niceville location for almost 6 years where she was able to see and visit with a lot of the same people that they would deliver food to with Supper on Saturday. The work that this organization does for those in need is amazing and it paralleled the mission of Supper on Saturday.
She was asked to serve on the Planning Committee for the Okaloosa County School Board. She served on the committee for three years and was involved in determining the schedule for the upcoming calendar years. She currently serves on the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Advisory Committee. This group is comprised of mainly businessmen and women from all ends of the county and where they are educated and updated on the latest from the sheriff’s department.
Heather is excited to be involved in helping serve in any way she can. You will find her putting all the energy she has into the task at hand and is at a perfect place in life to give of her time. She is an avid tennis player, lover of fitness, always willing to try something new.

Holly Strobel
Holly was born in Maryland but as a child her parents decided to move to Pensacola, FL. She has lived here most of her life.
Holly has always had a passion to help others. After high school, she spent almost 5 years working at Clarkson Eye Care. There she gained valuable healthcare and insurance knowledge before “retiring” as a stay at home mom when she had her son in 2017.
Holly’s husband, Doug, is a local business owner. They have one son, Clayton, who recently started elementary school. When his first school year began, she found herself looking for places to volunteer. A friend introduced her to the Guardian ad litem volunteer program. She completed training in 2023 and immediately started visiting foster children.
Holly had never been exposed or aware of the foster care system and was shocked when she learned what these children go through on a daily basis while in foster care. After just 6 months as a volunteer, it became very obvious to Holly that she wanted and needed to do more and was asked to join the foundation as a board member.
